Super 7R Edger operating instructions

The Super 7R edger is easy to operate:

  1. Connect the plug to the outlet and press the on button. You will then see a green light, which means the machine is ready to go.
  2. To start edging, hold the machine with both hands and adjust the height so that the blade is slightly above ground level.
  3. While holding the machine with one hand, tilt it slightly forward and pull back on the handle. The blade will then cut into the ground.
  4. Keep edging while tilting the machine slightly backward to let soil fall away from the blade.
  5. To stop edging, release pressure on the handle and let gravity pull you down.
  6. Empty the dust bag once it reaches 1/2 full.

Super 7R Edger Adjustment Procedures

Leveling the edger:

  1. Set the handle height selector to maximum height.
  2. Adjust the wheels to be at equal height and pointing straight forward.
  3. Hold down the handle, the lower front part of the edger, and push down on adjustable feet until the machine is level with the ground and there is a 1cm gap between the bottom of the blade and surface.

Adjusting the blade height:

With the machine is turned off, hold down the height adjustment lever and turn the blade height, adjusting the knob clockwise or counterclockwise to desired blade height using a screwdriver.

Adjusting the handle:

While the machine is turned off, hold down the handle and twist it to the desired position. Release the handle.

What you should know before renting a floor drum sander

A floor drum sander is for smaller flat surfaces, hard-to-reach areas, and corners. You will need to rent a hardwood floor edger for larger projects.

When sanding the hardwood floor, it’s advised to wear safety products such as a dust mask or respirator to prevent wood dust inhalation.
